Complaints Policy

How to report content or conduct on BetterSex, and how Secure Medical Inc receives, prioritizes, investigates, and resolves complaints.

Urgent safety matters — in particular any content that may sexualize a minor — should be sent to compliance@bettersex.ai with the subject line URGENT BetterSex SAFETY COMPLAINT. These are prioritized above all other reports.

This Policy applies to bettersex.ai and every related site, application, or feature that links to it. Read it together with our Prohibited Content Policy, Content Removal Policy, DMCA Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. A single complaint may be reviewed under more than one.

1. Who may complain

Anyone may submit a good-faith complaint. An account is not required. Complaints may come from users, from a person who believes generated content resembles them, from a parent or guardian, from an authorized representative or attorney, from a rights holder, from a law-enforcement or government representative, from a payment or business partner, or from a member of the public.

2. What may be reported

2.1 Minors

2.2 Likeness & non-consensual content

2.3 Prohibited scenarios

2.4 Safety-control failures

2.5 Conduct, fraud & other matters

Formal copyright takedown requests must follow our DMCA Policy.

3. How to submit a complaint

Use the in-product Report control available on conversations, companions, and generated media, or contact us directly:

5801 S. McClintock Drive, Suite 107, Tempe, AZ 85283, USA
Email: compliance@bettersex.ai
Telephone: 1-800-467-5146

Subject lines: BetterSex Content Complaint, URGENT BetterSex Safety Complaint, or BetterSex Complaint Appeal.

A telephone call may be used to alert us to an urgent matter. We may require a written report before completing an investigation.

4. What to include

Identifying each specific item helps us act quickly. A general reference to the Service as a whole may delay investigation.

5. Never attach suspected illegal imagery

If you believe you have encountered child sexual abuse material or other unlawful imagery, do not download, copy, forward, re-upload, or attach it. Provide the location, the account or companion involved, a description of what you observed, and the date and time. We will retrieve and handle the material through restricted internal procedures.

6. Emergencies

Our complaint system is not an emergency service. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reporting to us does not prevent you from also contacting law enforcement, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, an attorney, or a victim-support organization.

7. Anonymous & representative complaints

We accept anonymous complaints and review all credible reports, particularly those involving minors, exploitation, non-consensual content, or danger. Anonymity may limit our ability to request clarification, verify a claim, or communicate an outcome.

An attorney, agent, parent, guardian, or other authorized representative may complain on behalf of an affected person. We may request written authorization, proof of identity or guardianship, or other evidence of authority, and may contact the affected person directly where necessary.

8. Acknowledgment

We ordinarily acknowledge a complete written complaint within two business days. Reports submitted through the in-product control receive an immediate automated confirmation. An acknowledgment may include a reference number, a request for further information, or notice of an interim restriction. Not receiving a confirmation does not mean a complaint was rejected.

9. Triage & priority levels

Priority One — child safety or immediate danger

Suspected sexualization of a minor, a possible minor account holder, grooming or enticement, a credible threat of imminent violence, or a person at risk of serious harm. We act immediately: restricting the account, preserving records, escalating to senior compliance personnel, and referring to authorities where required or appropriate.

Priority Two — likeness, non-consensual, or unlawful content

Content resembling a real person, material used as non-consensual intimate imagery, prohibited scenario categories, or a demonstrated failure of our safety controls. We may disable the content or companion and restrict the account while investigating.

Priority Three — other serious violations

Harassment, fraud, privacy issues, intellectual property claims, misrepresentation, or repeated policy violations, handled according to available evidence and potential risk.

10. Interim measures

We may act protectively before an investigation concludes — disabling generated content, deleting or freezing a companion, restricting generation or messaging, suspending billing or token spend, requiring renewed identity verification, suspending an account, or preserving records.

We may do so where a complaint appears credible, a minor may be involved, a real person's likeness may be implicated, evidence may be lost, continued availability may cause further harm, or we are required to act by law or by a business partner. An interim restriction is not a final determination.

11. Investigation

Our review may include examining the reported content and conversation; reviewing prompt and generation logs, safety-filter decisions, and blocked-request records; reviewing account and verification records; reviewing related or linked accounts and transaction records; communicating with the complainant and the account holder; reviewing prior enforcement history; testing whether a control failed and reproducing the issue; consulting legal counsel; contacting our model or infrastructure providers; and cooperating with authorities.

Where a complaint reveals that a safety control did not perform as intended, we treat correcting that control as part of resolving the complaint, not as a separate matter.

12. Resolution timeframes

Timeframes may be extended where information is incomplete, identity is difficult to verify, multiple parties are involved, a law-enforcement investigation or court order is engaged, or circumstances arise outside our reasonable control. Interim restrictions may remain in place while an investigation continues.

13. Outcomes & notice

Possible outcomes include a finding of no violation, a request for further information, a warning, deletion of content or a companion, restriction of features or tiers, required re-verification, suspension of billing, temporary suspension, permanent termination of the account and related accounts, a block on re-registration, correction of a safety control, preservation of records, notification of a payment partner, or referral to authorities.

Where appropriate we tell the complainant that the complaint was reviewed and what category of action was taken, and inform an affected account holder of the conduct involved, the policy engaged, the action taken, and whether an appeal is available. We may withhold detail where disclosure could endanger a person, reveal a complainant's identity, compromise an investigation, breach privacy or legal obligations, or enable evasion of our controls.

We may remove content for violating our policies even where no court has determined it unlawful.

14. Appeals

A complainant or affected account holder may appeal by writing to compliance@bettersex.ai with the subject line BetterSex Complaint Appeal, including the reference number, the decision challenged, why it is believed incorrect, any new evidence, and the outcome requested.

Where practicable an appeal is reviewed by someone other than the original decision-maker. An appeal does not automatically restore content or reinstate an account. We may reject an appeal that merely repeats information already considered, that is abusive or fraudulent, that concerns content involving a minor or non-consensual imagery, that challenges action required by law or by a payment partner, or that is intended to evade enforcement.

15. Confidentiality & no retaliation

We handle complaints with discretion but cannot guarantee complete confidentiality. Information may be shared with personnel and contractors who need it, an affected account holder, legal counsel, payment processors, hosting, security, or verification providers, law enforcement, courts, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, or others where required or permitted by law. Please do not submit sensitive information that is not necessary to investigate.

Retaliation against anyone who submits a complaint, requests removal, participates in an investigation, provides evidence, contacts law enforcement, or appeals a decision is prohibited and may result in immediate termination.

16. False or abusive complaints

Knowingly false complaints, fabricated evidence, fraudulent identification, false claims of resemblance, false intellectual property claims, complaints intended to harass, and duplicate complaints intended to disrupt our operations are prohibited and may result in restricted reporting privileges, account action, legal action, or referral to authorities.

We will not penalize anyone because a good-faith complaint could not be substantiated.
