Content Removal Policy

How to request removal of content from BetterSex, and how Secure Medical Inc handles those requests.

To report an urgent safety issue — in particular any content that may sexualize a minor — email compliance@bettersex.ai with the subject line URGENT — CONTENT REPORT. We prioritize these above all other requests.

This Policy covers requests from people who believe generated content resembles them, requests concerning non-consensual intimate imagery, requests from users to delete their own content and accounts, and requests from authorized representatives and authorities. Copyright takedowns are handled under our DMCA Policy. What we prohibit generally is set out in our Prohibited Content Policy.

1. How content exists here

All companion content on BetterSex is generated by artificial intelligence. Users cannot upload photographs, video, or audio of any person, and companion appearance is produced by our system from a fixed set of selectable characteristics rather than from reference media. Generated content is ordinarily private to the account that created it. There is no public content library, no peer-to-peer sharing, and no marketplace.

These design choices substantially reduce the risk that content resembling a real person exists on the Service — but they do not eliminate it, and we do not treat them as a reason to decline a request. If you believe content on this Service depicts or resembles you, we will review it. You do not need to prove intent, and you do not need to explain how the resemblance arose.

2. Who may request removal

An account is not required.

3. Grounds for removal

We will consider removal where content:

4. How to submit a request

Subject lines: BetterSex Content Removal Request; URGENT NON-CONSENSUAL IMAGERY REMOVAL for requests under Section 6; or BetterSex Account Deletion for your own data.

Account holders may also delete their own companions, conversations, and account from within account settings — see Section 12.

5. What to include

Do not attach intimate images of yourself or anyone else to a removal request, and never attach material that may depict a minor. Describe the content and tell us where it is. We will locate it ourselves.

6. Non-consensual intimate imagery — 48 hours

We operate a dedicated process for reports of non-consensual intimate imagery, consistent with the notice-and-removal requirements of the TAKE IT DOWN Act.

Where an identifiable individual, or a person authorized to act for them, notifies us in good faith that intimate imagery depicting them — including digitally generated or manipulated imagery — is available on the Service without their consent, we will remove that content, and make reasonable efforts to remove any identical copies, as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request.

To be actionable, a request should identify the requester, provide enough information for us to locate the content, include a brief statement of good-faith belief that the imagery was published without consent, and provide contact information. We may accept an incomplete request where the content can still be identified and the claim appears credible.

We will not delay removal in order to complete a full investigation. Where a claim is credible on its face, we remove first and review afterward.

7. Identity verification

We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a likeness claim — typically confirmation that you are who you say you are, or that you are authorized to act for another person. We request the minimum necessary, retain it only as long as needed to process the request, and do not use it for any other purpose.

Verification will not be used to delay urgent removals. Where a request appears credible and the harm is serious, we may remove or restrict content first and verify afterward. Where a parent or guardian reports content involving a minor, we act on the report immediately and address documentation afterward.

8. Timelines

Where a request is incomplete, the clock runs from the point at which we receive the information needed to act.

9. How we review a request

Our review may include locating and examining the content; reviewing the prompts and generation records that produced it; reviewing the companion's creation record and selected characteristics; reviewing the account's history and related accounts; assessing whether a safety control failed; contacting the requester for clarification; contacting the account holder where appropriate and safe to do so; and consulting legal counsel.

Where content resembles a real person, we do not treat the absence of intent as a reason to keep it. Coincidental resemblance is still resemblance, and the affected person's interest governs.

We may restrict or remove content while a request is under review. An interim restriction is not a final determination.

10. Outcomes

We may permanently delete the content, delete the companion that produced it, restrict or suspend the account, block the characteristics or prompt patterns that generated the content, require renewed verification, correct the safety control that failed, preserve records for legal purposes, notify a payment partner, refer the matter to authorities, or determine that removal is not warranted.

We will tell the requester the outcome where it is appropriate and safe to do so. We may limit detail where disclosure could endanger someone, reveal a requester's identity, compromise an investigation, or breach a legal obligation.

11. Preventing regeneration

Because content here is generated rather than uploaded, removal alone is not sufficient — the same content could otherwise be produced again. Where we remove content on likeness or unlawful-content grounds, we also take steps to prevent recurrence, which may include blocking the offending prompt patterns and names, deleting the companion and its persona record, adding terms to our pre-generation filters, restricting the account's generation features, and monitoring for renewed attempts by the same or linked accounts.

Attempting to regenerate removed content is a severe violation and may result in immediate termination.

12. Deleting your own content

Account holders may delete individual companions, conversations, and generated media from within the application at any time, and may request deletion of the entire account and its associated personal data by writing to removal@bettersex.ai with the subject line BetterSex Account Deletion.

Account deletion ends access to the Service. Unused tokens and subscription time are handled under our Terms of Service. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through a third-party store; cancel there as well.

Where you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, the GDPR, or another applicable law, we honor them as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. What removal does & does not do

Removal makes content inaccessible on the Service. It does not necessarily erase every copy immediately from secure backup, evidentiary, fraud-prevention, or legal-preservation systems. We retain limited records where necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, prevent recurrence, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements — and we retain records relating to suspected child exploitation as required by law.

We cannot remove content from services we do not operate. If content has been copied elsewhere, you may need to contact that service, and we will provide reasonable assistance where we can.

14. Appeals

If your removal request is declined, or if you are an account holder whose content was removed, you may appeal by writing to removal@bettersex.ai with the subject line BetterSex Removal Appeal, explaining why the decision was incorrect and providing any new information.

Where practicable an appeal is reviewed by someone other than the original decision-maker. We may decline appeals seeking restoration of content involving minors, non-consensual imagery, or content whose removal is required by law or by our payment partners. Nothing in this Policy limits any legal remedy otherwise available to you.
