Prohibited Content Policy
This Policy explains what may not be generated, requested, or done on BetterSex, and the controls Secure Medical Inc uses to prevent it.
All content on BetterSex is generated by artificial intelligence. Users cannot upload photographs, video, or audio of any person. There are no human performers, no user-contributed media library, and no peer-to-peer sharing. Companion appearance is produced by our system from a fixed set of selectable adult characteristics.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to everyone who accesses BetterSex and to all material passing through it — prompts and instructions, companion names, personas, backstories and selected characteristics, generated text, voice, images and video, profile information, and any message or transaction connected to the Service.
Because no real human performer appears in any content on the Service, the performer recordkeeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A do not apply to wholly synthetic material. Our 2257 Statement addresses this. We nonetheless retain generation, account, and verification records as described in Section 15.
This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. We may restrict content or conduct that is technically lawful where we reasonably determine it creates an unacceptable safety, exploitation, legal, payment-network, or reputational risk.
2. Adults only
BetterSex is exclusively for adults aged 18 or older who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction. Where local law sets a higher age, the higher age applies.
Registration requires a date-of-birth attestation. Attestation alone does not unlock adult content. Access to explicit generation requires successful identity and age verification through our third-party provider, as described in Section 11.
3. Minors — zero tolerance
We do not permit the sexualization of minors in any form, real or synthetic. This is enforced at the point of creation and generation — not only after the fact.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Any sexual or sexually suggestive depiction or description of a person under 18;
- Child sexual abuse material, or synthetic material appearing to depict a minor sexually;
- Companions created, named, described, or prompted to represent a person under 18;
- Selecting characteristics or writing persona or backstory text intended to present a companion as a child, adolescent, or minor;
- Age-play, or scenarios framing a participant as a child regardless of any stated age;
- School-age framing presented in a sexual context;
- Descriptions of physical immaturity in a sexual context;
- Prompts using coded language, euphemisms, or deliberate misspellings intended to elicit content involving a minor;
- Content depicting an adult sexually soliciting, grooming, or exploiting a minor;
- Requests for guidance on locating, producing, or distributing child sexual abuse material.
Stating that a companion is an adult does not permit content that otherwise presents that companion as a minor. Substance controls over stated age.
Where we identify an apparent attempt to generate sexual content involving a minor, we may immediately suspend the account, preserve the associated records, and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or law enforcement as required or permitted by law.
4. Real people, likeness & deepfakes
This is addressed architecturally rather than by moderation alone. BetterSex accepts no uploaded images, video, or audio of any person. There is no mechanism by which a user can introduce a real person's face, body, or voice into generated content.
In addition, the following are prohibited:
- Naming, describing, or prompting a companion to represent a real, identifiable person, whether a public figure or a private individual;
- Prompts describing a real person by name, role, or distinguishing feature in order to produce content resembling them;
- Attempting to reproduce a real person's voice or speech patterns;
- Presenting generated content as an authentic recording of a real person;
- Using generated content to harass, defame, extort, blackmail, or deceive anyone;
- Producing material intended for distribution as non-consensual intimate imagery.
Any person who believes content on the Service resembles them may request review and removal under our Content Removal Policy. We treat these as high priority regardless of whether the resemblance was intentional, and consistent with the 48-hour removal requirement of the TAKE IT DOWN Act.
5. Non-consensual & coercive scenarios
Generated content depicting, eroticizing, or encouraging non-consensual sexual activity is prohibited, including scenarios involving:
- Rape or sexual assault;
- Forced or coerced sexual activity;
- Sexual activity with an unconscious, sleeping, drugged, or incapacitated participant;
- Drug-facilitated sexual activity, or instruction on incapacitating another person;
- Blackmail, extortion, or threats used to obtain sexual compliance;
- Kidnapping, trafficking, or unlawful confinement for a sexual purpose;
- Scenarios in which a participant withdraws consent and the activity continues;
- Sexual abuse of authority over a dependent, patient, student, or subordinate;
- Sexualized domestic violence or sexual torture.
Consensual power-exchange and restraint themes between adults clearly established as willing participants are permitted within the tier limits described in Section 11. Content is prohibited when framed, requested, or reasonably understood as depicting a genuine absence of consent.
6. Extreme & unlawful categories
The Service will not generate content involving or promoting:
- Bestiality or sexual activity involving animals;
- Necrophilia or sexual activity involving human remains;
- Incest involving family members;
- Sexual mutilation or serious physical injury presented sexually;
- Snuff content, or death presented for sexual gratification;
- Sexual torture or cannibalism;
- Sexual activity unlawful in the jurisdiction where the user accesses the Service;
- Any other conduct presenting an unacceptable risk of harm, abuse, or illegality.
These restrictions apply equally to text, voice, image, and video output, and to descriptive, narrative, roleplay, and fictional framing. Fictional framing is not an exception.
7. Violence, self-harm & dangerous instruction
The Service will not generate content depicting, encouraging, instructing, or celebrating murder or serious violence, terrorism, credible threats against an identifiable person or group, suicide, self-harm, disordered eating, choking or strangulation presented without regard to safety, harm to animals, instructions for violent crimes or weapon production, or hatred and dehumanization directed at people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or another protected characteristic.
Where a conversation indicates a user may be at risk of self-harm or in crisis, the Service interrupts companion roleplay and surfaces crisis support resources rather than continuing in character.
8. Prostitution & real-world contact
BetterSex is a synthetic companionship service. It is not an escort service, a dating service, a marketplace for sexual services, or a means of contacting real people. Companions are software and are disclosed as software.
Users may not offer, solicit, arrange, or advertise sexual activity in exchange for anything of value; arrange in-person meetings for compensated sexual activity; advertise escort, brothel, or trafficking-related services; or recruit any person into commercial sexual activity.
Tokens and subscriptions may be used only for features we expressly offer, and may not be used to arrange or conceal payment for real-world sexual conduct.
9. Medical & health claims
BetterSex may address sexual wellness topics in general terms. It does not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or therapy, and no companion is a licensed clinician.
The Service will not be used to diagnose or treat any condition, to represent a companion as a licensed professional giving clinical direction, to make fraudulent health claims, to advise a user to disregard professional medical advice, or to sell or direct users to unauthorized medications. Companion output is fiction and general information, not medical advice.
10. Prohibited user conduct
Independently of what a companion outputs, users may not:
- Attempt to circumvent or defeat our safety controls — including through jailbreak prompts, encoding, obfuscation, character substitution, translation, incremental escalation, or roleplay framing intended to evade filtering;
- Bypass, falsify, or share credentials for age or identity verification;
- Use another person's identity or identification documents;
- Create a replacement account after suspension or termination;
- Share, resell, or transfer account access;
- Use stolen payment credentials, commit chargeback fraud, or launder funds;
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or programmatically extract content or model behavior;
- Introduce malware or attempt unauthorized access to our systems;
- Export generated content for prohibited use elsewhere, including harassment;
- Retaliate against anyone who submits a report, request, or complaint.
Repeated attempts to elicit prohibited content are themselves a violation, whether or not any attempt succeeds.
11. How we enforce this
Enforcement is technical as well as contractual.
Verified age gating
Explicit content is unavailable until an account completes identity and age verification through our third-party verification provider. Verification status is stored server-side and evaluated on every request. An unverified user cannot reach explicit generation by refreshing the page, replaying a request, or manipulating the client.
Pre-generation blocking
Prompts are screened on our servers before any model is invoked. Where a prompt matches a prohibited category, the request is refused at our application layer and no generation occurs — so prohibited output is never created, stored, cached, or transmitted.
Constrained companion creation
Companion appearance is generated from a bounded allow-list of adult characteristics. Users cannot upload reference media, and the creation flow does not accept free-form appearance instructions capable of specifying a real individual or a minor. A minimum age of 18 is hard-locked in the builder, and the server re-validates every submitted value against the allow-list so a tampered request cannot introduce a disallowed option.
Minor-term screening
All companion names, personas, backstories, and free-text fields are screened against a maintained list of terms and numeric age patterns indicating a minor. The screen is deliberately broad: we accept false positives rather than misses.
Persistent instruction constraints
Every companion operates under server-side system instructions defining hard content prohibitions and a permitted intensity tier. These are not user-editable and are re-applied on every generation. User-supplied persona text is screened and cannot override them.
Provider-level safeguards
Our model providers apply their own safety systems to inference requests. Our controls operate in addition to, and independently of, theirs; we do not rely on provider filtering alone.
Human review and monitoring
Blocked requests, repeated evasion attempts, and reported conversations are logged and reviewed by trained personnel. Accounts showing patterns of prohibited requests are escalated for action regardless of whether generation succeeded.
Channel restrictions
Outbound telephone and scheduled-call features carry non-explicit content only. Explicit material is confined to the authenticated, age-verified application.
12. Reporting a violation
Anyone may report suspected prohibited content or conduct, with or without an account, using the in-product report control or the contacts in Section 16.
A report should include the account or companion involved, the date and approximate time, a description of what was observed, why it appears to violate this Policy, whether a minor or a person in danger may be involved, and your contact details.
Do not attach suspected illegal imagery to a report. Do not download, copy, forward, or redistribute it. Describe what you saw and where, and we will retrieve and handle the material through restricted internal procedures.
Full procedures are in our Complaints Policy. Removal requests are handled under our Content Removal Policy. Copyright claims follow our DMCA Policy.
13. Enforcement
We may refuse a request and return a safety message; delete the companion, conversation, or generated content; restrict features, tiers, or generation capacity; require renewed identity verification; suspend purchases, tokens, or billing; issue a warning; suspend or permanently terminate the account and related accounts; block re-registration; preserve records and notify payment partners; and report suspected criminal conduct to appropriate authorities.
We are not required to warn before terminating an account. A single severe violation — including any attempt to generate sexual content involving a minor, to produce non-consensual intimate imagery of a real person, to commit fraud, or to deliberately defeat our safety controls — may result in immediate permanent termination.
Termination does not entitle a user to a refund of unused tokens or subscription time where it results from a violation of this Policy, except where a refund is required by law.
14. Appeals
A user may appeal by writing to compliance@bettersex.ai with the subject line BetterSex Decision Appeal, including the account email, the decision and its date, why it is believed incorrect, and any supporting information.
Where practicable, an appeal is reviewed by someone other than the original decision-maker. Appealing does not automatically restore content or reinstate an account. We may decline appeals concerning minors, non-consensual imagery, fraud, deliberate evasion of safety controls, or action required by law or by our payment partners.
15. Records & cooperation
We retain account records, verification outcomes, prompt and generation logs, blocked-request records, moderation decisions, and transaction records for security, safety, fraud-prevention, legal, and compliance purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
We may preserve and disclose information in response to valid legal process, including court orders, subpoenas, warrants, preservation requests, and emergency requests where there is a risk of serious harm, and we report suspected child sexual exploitation as required by law.
Deleting content from an account does not necessarily remove it from secure backup, evidentiary, or legal-preservation systems.
